I got the Zion one as a gift, and each of my friends got the others! Not only is the presentation gorgeous but the smell is immaculate. I love the scent and love that it’s all natural, I don’t feel like I’m breathing in harsh artificial chemicals. The wick is sometimes hard to light but once you light it it stays lit for as long as you let it!! I burned out the Zion candle and still keep it on display because it’s so pretty!! Just purchased some for Christmas gifts, I will definitely be coming back in the future!
For such an expensive candle you’d think they’d buy quality wicks for their candles. Every single candle I bought in my pack won’t stay lit for more than 30 seconds. I now have a graveyard of 1/4 lit candles that can’t hold a flame. So sad. I’ve spent $100 on artisan candles with wood wicks that work 10x better i’ve bought walmart brand candles with wood wicks that work 100x better
Taylor, we're sorry to hear this has been your experience! While we love our ethically sourced signature wood wicks for so many reasons, they definitely require a little extra care. Based on your photos, it looks like your wicks just need a trim. We recommend trimming your wick down to about 1/8” or even shorter while cool before re-lighting, being sure to remove those charred bits. You want the wax to be able to 'climb' the wick for your candle to stay burning.

If you're really not feeling the wood but still enjoy our scents, we recently started offering our bestsellers with cotton wicks, if that’s preferable for you. You can also always place your 1/4 burned candles on a candle warming plate (or even a stove warming burner) to throw the scent without having to light the candle, so they don't go to waste. (Don't forget to remove the sticker on the bottom of the tins first.)
