What a unique and creative house product, which I am giving as a Christmas gift for a sister that loves visiting Zion National Park.
This has become my favorite candle- I find its scent to be so unique and relaxing!
I have re purchased this candle several times and will continue to do so! It’s the perfect earthy, herb-y, woodsy smell. I always get a done of compliments on it when I have it lit. It fills the space very well.
LOVE this smell so much that I bought two larger candles at $38 each—one for my kid and one for myself. Unfortunately, the wood wick (is that the right term?) burned out and will no longer hold a flame. Super bummed as there's 4/5ths of expensive candles (both ZIONs scraped out at roughly the same point) going to waste. The store where I bought them only had the wood wick, but I would never buy one again, which bums me out because it seems like a rad brand and it is an incredible smell. :(
Hey Sean! We're sorry to hear about your experience with wood wicks (that is indeed the right term), and we appreciate the kind words about our brand. :) While we <3 wood wicks for many reasons, they can be a little trickier than their cotton counterparts. We recommend trimming the wood wick down to about 1/8', as the wax needs to 'climb' the wick to hold the flame. Be sure to remove any charred bits from the last burn, too. If you love our scents and just can't seem to make the wood wicks work, we do offer cotton wicks on our website. Hope this helps!
